The Lisle Police Department Union (MAP Chapter 87) is proud to be a part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) and the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children (NCMEC) task force. In the past year, Detectives John Hoffman and Logan Godar have investigated numerous offenses involving the exploitation of children. Due to these efforts, both officers were awarded an all expenses paid scholarship to attend the 2023 National Law Enforcement Training on Child Exploitation conference in Atlanta, GA. This conference has hundreds of hands-on labs and presentations educating officers on how to best identify, investigate, and prosecute offenses involving child exploitation.  Below you will find useful links with statistics on the prevalence of these cases, and how law enforcement and private entities are teaming up to combat the exploitation of children.  Child Exploitation Statistics: https://www.thorn.org/child-pornography-and-abuse-statistics/ To Submit A Tip to ICA...
